SAGEO is the French annual international conference which connects the different fields, approaches, disciplines and actors, promoting the geoinformatics. It is organized by the two French research networks MAGIS ^[1] and the European Research Group S4 ^[2].  SAGEO aims at:
•    presenting research work in the field of geoinformatics, spatial analysis and Geographic Information Science;
•    connecting the communities of these different fields and to provide a exchange place on research and development on geographic information science;
Best papers will be proposed for publication to the Journals M@ppemonde when focusing on cartographical issues, or to the “European Journal of Geomatics and Spatial Analysis” (Revue Internationale de Géomatique).
