Aperitif at the Musée National de la Marine 5th July

The Musée National de la Marine will host an “Apéritif” on Tuesday 5th July, from 19: 00 to 20: 30.

Musée National de la Marine in Paris stands opposite the Eiffel Tower, inside one of the city’s finest Art Deco monuments. Gala reception at the National Library of France 7th July

The Gala evening will be held at the National Library of France (BnF – Bibliothèque François Mitterrand) around the Coronelli’s giant globes. The historical maps exhibition on the “Cartographic Exploration of Africa” will exceptionally open for the evening.

Opened in 1995, the new building of the National Library (Bibliothèque François Mitterrand) is one of the largest and most modern libraries in the world. It is designed to cover all fields of knowledge, and to be accessible to all, using the most modern data transfer technologies.

Meridan walk 6th July

The Paris Meridian Line was the Prime or Zero Meridian, the datum for all measurements of longitude.
A walk will be held in Paris along the Line on Wednesday 6th July from 6:30 to 8:00 AM, with nice halts in front of statues, buildings and cafés.

Orienteering event in Bois de Boulogne 8th July

Nearby the Palais des Congrès a cross-country orienteering event will be held on Friday 8th July.
An opportunity for attendees to enjoy an outdoor activity while practicing their map-user skills.
